I would highly recommend staying at The Breeze Motel! We stayed here recently on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The direct access to the water made it even more special. A wonderful place to stay!
A fantastic gal greeted us when we arrived hours early for our reservation. Makayla and her team were fantastic. They had our room ready within the hour. And gave us great information on where to eat and things to see. The surroundings are so beautiful being right on the water. Super fun tide watching!
This stay may have been the highlight of our trip! Our room was pleasant and clean, decorated beautifully. But the highlight was the location - steps away from the Minas Basin. Walking the ocean floor, searching for hermit crabs and sitting in the chairs overlooking the receding tide will not be forgotten. The online information provided after check-in was really great - unfortunately we had already stopped for what turned out to be a sub-par meal in Windsor, not knowing what might be close to the motel in Grand Pre.
Chill, relaxed stay with the best direct view of Evangeline Beach. Couple small suggestions that would add a nice touch would be slippers and s’mores kits with kindling for the fire pit. Will be back
The Breeze Motel is different that I expected. There is no office or front desk. We didn't know there were 10 rooms, and had to look for Room 6 at night in the dark. (Thank goodness for cellphone fkashlights.) You receive a text with your Room Number and Lock Code. If you have a problem, you send a text and help is immediate. The rooms are well appointed. Ours had a nicely decorated and well-equipped mini-kitchenette area. The motel's location is excellent. Though different, we still gave it a 5-star overall rating. We hope to be back.
Hands down. This was probably the best room we booked for our 10-day trip to Halifax. Sadly we only stayed one night. I probably could have stayed three. So beautiful! Cabin number five! Easy check-in, everything is emailed to you. 11 stars out of 10!!! If I ever come back I will stay here.
We loved this place! Our room overlooked the Bay of Fundy so we could watch the tides without needing to leave our room. We had one small issue (curtain rod fell) and it was fixed immediately. Quick drive to Wolfville or vineyards. Would definitely stay here again.
A fantastic location and a beautiful room. The whole self serve concept works great. I stayed in the king room, and while it wasn't obvious from the reservation, it not only has a microwave, but it also has an induction hotplate and pans.
